The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed regarding the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The assistance point designed for intervention activities a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods website to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
